Scott Cylinder User Notice
SCOTT has issued a user's notice on a small set of Luxfer SCBA Cylinders which may not have undergone autofrettage during cylinder testing. Luxfer has determined through testing and analysis that these cylinders are safe and there is no requirement to remove the cylinder from service. However, the cylinders should be tested as soon as is practical from a DOT conformance standpoint.

Luxfer is ready to coordinate for testing of the cylinders at no-cost to the ship. NAVSEA 05P4 and NSWCPC have identified which ships the cylinders ended up on through the SCBA install.
